Eco-Friendly & CSR
Seasonova Environmental Charter
Contributing to Carbon Neutrality
Since 2022, we have been committed to the Ecologic Program to restore degraded land through reforestation.
Thanks to this partnership, we have already planted 1,935 trees and protected 1.2 hectares of native forest in Brazil, contributing to the sequestration of 929 tonnes of CO₂.
Preserving Biodiversity
We choose to locate our campsites in pristine environments, ensuring we minimize our impact on local ecosystems.
- No pesticides
- Native plantings
- Integrated landscaping
- Wildlife refuges
Several sites are adjacent to French National Forest Office (ONF) woodlands or Natura 2000 protected areas, immersing guests in rich and protected ecosystems.
We have also installed black-bee hives on the Île de Ré campsite—Apis mellifera mellifera—a protected sub-species essential for pollination.
Passing on an Environmentally-Respectful Culture
We train our teams in eco-friendly practices and raise campers’ awareness of responsible tourism through educational materials, activities and workshops.
Promoting Sustainable Resource Management
We strive to reduce our daily environmental footprint.
Selective sorting and composting are deployed with clear signage, and our staff are trained in best practices.
Water and energy consumption are monitored using flow reducers and tracking tools.
Building Relationships with Committed Partners
We strengthen partnerships with nature-protection actors such as the ONF, LPO (Bird Protection League) and local associations.
Labelling Our Commitments
We aim to achieve “Destination of Excellence” certification for 100 % of our campsites by 2025 and are actively pursuing recognised labels such as the European Ecolabel and La Clef Verte, guarantees of sustainable tourism.
Responsible Purchasing & Circular Economy
To extend equipment life and reduce our footprint, we prioritise refurbished gear and suppliers committed to environmental standards (Ecolabel, Ecocert).
Cleaning products are eco-friendly, reusable or low-packaging-impact.
Organic produce is favoured; several campsites sell local honey from our Île de Ré apiary and a “slow life” organic-cotton textile line to encourage mindful consumption.
We have also started digitising HR procedures to cut paper use.
Encouraging Soft Mobility
We facilitate sustainable travel to our campsites by train, bus or bicycle.
Bike shelters are provided, soft mobility highlighted, and visitors are informed about the impact of their travel choices.
