What does my cancellation guarantee cover?
- Trip cancellation costs up to €5,000 per person and €25,000 per event.
- Modification costs : Reimbursement of costs related to the modification of the dates of the stay: up to 2 000 € per person and 10 000 € per event, according to the conditions of the contract.
- Late arrival: Reimbursement of unused days of accommodation up to €4,000 per rental or pitch with a maximum of €25,000 per event.
- Forgetting a personal object in the rental: Reimbursement of the cost of sending personal objects forgotten in the rental up to a maximum of 150 € per item.
What does my cancellation guarantee not cover?
- The consequences and/or events resulting from a strike, an attack or an act of terrorism.
- The deliberate fault of the insured.
- Illnesses or accidents that have been the subject of an initial observation, treatment or hospitalisation between the booking of the trip and the subscription of the contract.
- The failure of the organiser of the holiday or the airline or railway company.
Main restrictions :
- A sum indicated in the contract may remain payable by the client for the cancellation costs guarantee.
- The late arrival and interruption of stay guarantees apply after a period of one day.
Covid-19 extension :
- Disease COVID :
Cancellation for COVID illness declared in the month prior to departure in the event of an epidemic or pandemic.
- Put in a fortnight :
Cancellation following a fortnight’s notice in the event of a positive COVID test*.
- In case of contact with a fortnight’s notice:
Declared contact case (contacted by social security), waiting to take a COVID test or waiting for the test result*.
- Refusal of boarding :
Cancellation for denied boarding due to a temperature reading at the airport or station.
